NABARD Employees' Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. was registered on 20th July 1984 under the Maharashtra State Co-operative Act, 1960 to cater to the needs of NABARD employees by timely supply of credit. The Society was inaugurated by the then Chairman of NABARD, Shri R K Kaul on 06 August 1984. Since then, the Society has had phenomenal growth and impressed by the performance of the Society, the employees of NABARD, stationed all over the country started demanding that the Society’s area of operation be extended to all over India. In response to this demand, the Society was registered under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 1984, on November 1991. Ever since, there has always been an upward trend of growth due to the patronage of NABARD and sustained participation of its members.
It is a matter of pride that the Society has consistently earned ‘A’ class audit classification.
